In 2011 to fund doctors, nurses and teachers we ran Cash n Carry Supper Clubs with home-made recipes. Word spread and so do the supper clubs. We still run them. The recipes came with stories forged in the lives of the Urban Rajah’s family, his father and his uncles. A story of food migration from the Indian sub-continent across 3 continents. Food Festivals followed and we ran our Indian Street Kitchen serving hunger busting grilled Indian roti wraps filled with tender marinated lamb, chicken or paneer cuddling up to super fresh salads and homemade chutneys…we call them Burotis. They flew of the grill.
